Drawing inspiration from the creative, ever-changing churn of sticker art across New York’s surfaces, Teem seeks to capture some of that transgressive, chaotic energy. By applying this extreme density of visual detail to a table lamp, it offers the owner an opportunity to study it closely and to continually add to it over time.
 
David is a New York–based architectural designer, creative director, curator, and furniture designer. With a multidisciplinary and collaborative sensibility, he approaches design challenges at a variety of scales—solving problems, weaving narratives, building community, and engaging with the complexities of context and identity. In 2023, he founded Ruperti, a multidisciplinary design studio in Brooklyn. He is also the co-founder of Andy and Dave, an experimental design collective that explores the intersections of architecture, media, and urbanism, with an emphasis on politics and consumer culture.
