Crutch Lamp, 2022

This lamp is constructed from a single vintage wooden crutch. This crutch lamp uses all pieces from its original form. The holes the wiring is threaded through are from the height adjustments for the crutch as well as all screws used. The wiring and light fixture were all repurposed from thrifted damaged lamps. My inspiration for the concept of this piece came from Charles & Ray Eames 1942 Leg Splint and my structure inspiration was influenced by Tito Agnoli's 1955 Table Lamp.
