About the event
Join us as we take a closer listen to one of Prince’s most underrated masterpieces—Rainbow Children. Released in 2001, this 24th album marked a pivotal moment in his career, not only as the tail end of his contract with Warner Bros but also as the moment he reclaimed his name from the Artist Formerly Known As. Rainbow Children stands out for its breathtaking production, weaving together elements of jazz, funk, and soul, all while exploring profound religious symbolism and themes. This intimate exploration will reveal why Rainbow Children remains one of his most talked-about, yet underappreciated releases. Let’s dive deep into the music, the message, and the magic that make this album a true gem in Prince’s vast discography.
