Pina Magazine Issue #2 Launch

Pina Magazine, a new exhibition space in the form of a magazine in‑print, is back in NYC for the launch of Issue #2! Join us for a conversation with Founder and Editor Catalina Imizcoz and writer Elvia Wilk who will discuss cover artists Forensic Architecture and Edgar Calel and the world-building premise of the magazine's flat exhibition space.

Pina is a printed, portable exhibition space. We function as a commissioning platform, collaborating with artists to create exhibitions existing solely within the pages of a magazine. The magazine’s name derives from pinax – a flat, painted board or tablet – and the root of pinacoteca, meaning a home for images. The commonality with a white cube gallery lies in the encounter, though this one is portable.
