COSMISM: Listening Series in collaboration with Head Hi

COSMISM is a live music listening event that brings together emerging artists rooted in Asian heritage to create transformative sonic experiences. Curated by Chamberlain Zhang, COSMISM reimagines community listening as an intentional, communal, and experimental act. 

The August edition welcomes Brooklyn-based DJ Yibing and Chamberlain Zhang, who will lead this immersive listening session with their personal genreless vinyl collections.

About the organizers and participants:

Yibing is a Brooklyn-based DJ and host of Tranquilamante Radio on The Lot Radio. Her eclectic and genre-fluid sets span downtempo, house, dub, ambient, and shoegaze. Yibing has performed across New York, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Mexico City, and is a member of the DIY collective The Level Party. In recent years, Yibing has played at festivals such as Honcho Campout, Sustain Release, and In The Open, and at parties including Weird Science and Groovy Groovy. @yowaitup
