"This lamp is from a series of one-of-a-kind functional tiled objects that I've been making the past few years. Aside from their obvious intended purposes, each piece can also act as interactive altar surface to burn incense/candles or make offerings on etc. With no shade and opalescent tiles, the look of this lamp changes pretty drastically depending on what kind of bulb you put in it. For this I'd like to show it with a vintage church bulb I found and if you're open to it burning incense directly on the surface to emphasize the interactive ritualistic nature of the piece."
