Emocean is an everyperson surf magazine that champions diverse perspectives, radical creativity, relatability, empowerment, and especially the narratives of women, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ surfers.
Issue 7's theme is Pain, featuring artwork by Markus Uran, a bizarre and interesting series titled Sharp Objects he made using Artificial Intelligence software. Imaginary objects, creatures and concepts around surfing and the sea. Markus is a dear friend of Head Hi and we're always stoked to catch waves with him in the Rockaways, NYC's closest surfing beach.
